I’ve had the pleasure of being a member of this outstanding arts organization for several years. I applaud the friendliness and warmth shared so generously by the highly professional staff, volunteers, and everyone that makes this organization such a success. I’ve been gratified, over the past eight months, to be teaching specialty classes on the campus; and have witnessed first hand the dedication of Lydia Black and her staff. In recent times, the Alliance has become known to one and all as the overarching arts venue in our region. Here is a unique place where one’s social or economic standing is neither benefit nor liability. The common bond is art in all its variety. Community outreach has achieved new heights. The joy and good will shared by the Alliance is becoming legend.
The Great!
- What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is... As an artist; the freedom to express ones' self without boundaries or constraint. As an instructor, the opportunity to see new artists emerge; as a member of the community, the sheer joy of exposure to the endless variety found in artistic expression.
Ways to make it better!
- In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are... Funding - what else?

The Alliance of the Arts provides a valuable service for artists and the arts community through outstanding programs, support and an experienced staff of skilled professionals interested in promoting the arts in Lee County. All of my dealings with them have been positive. Most recently the Alliance was a partner in the creation of the first annual Paint the Cape plein air competition and exhibition in Cape Coral. The support of Lydia Black and other members of the organization helped make the event a success! Thank you!!!

- If I had to make changes to this organization, I would… increase the interaction with Cape Coral.
- In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are... funding and staying focused on the mission.
I was a General Member of the Public & I provide business technical assistance to businesses like HofF Gallery that are located in the downtown Ephrata area. They've been in our downtwon for about 2 yrs. I've also supported their mission personally, via donation.

The staff of this organization seems extremely committed and passionate about the work they do and the clients they serve. This attitude easily translates to their volunteers, as it is evident in the longevity of their tenure and in their enthusiasm of the org's various programs.
The Great!
- I've seen the results of this organization in... their fundraising art auctions. The art items donated were impressive..some coming from staff, others from artists committed to the cause, and still others from their clients.
- What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is... the quality of the staff - their commitment to the client and their willingness to seek out new, different, and innovative ways to strengthen their programming.
- The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were... artistic, compassionate, committed, accetping, touched by the mission.
- If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could... provide sustainable sources for decades that would appreciate and nuture the talents and resources of their client base, helping them to successfully fulfill their role of productive citizen and everyone's right to the "pursuit of happiness".

- If I had to make changes to this organization, I would… further encourage and nurture their business side.
