Disabled Veterans SCUBA Project

I became a Handicapped Scuba Association Instructor through a course organized by the Disabled Veterans Scuba Project (I am a PADI dive instructor as well). I have assisted in SCUBA training for disabled American veterans which will lead to their dive certification. The sense of achievement on the part of the participants is well matched to the enthusiasm of the volunteers.

- What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is... the cameraderie amongst volunteers and students.
Ways to make it better!
- One thing I'd also say is that... This project is poised for growth as it serves its mission to serve disabled Veterans by helping them experience the comaraderie of SCUBA diving and the wonders of the underwater world.
